When Elionwy and Taran got up early one morning, she looked outside her window and saw that it was a nice day to walk around. It was just too beautiful to stay indoors, as she wanted to go out. Taran, on the other hand, wanted to go back to the comfy bed, and she shook her head. After getting him out of bed, they quickly got dressed and went outside to walk. She then found a village, which reminded her of the small town in England that she and mother used to walk in whenever they went shopping, even thought she was poor, she could at least afford to buy her a book. Eilonwy then sniffed something that was fresh pastries that could be good for breakfast, and looked inside to see if there was any scones; luckily, they were cheap enough to buy and tea came along with it. She found a table for her and Taran to sit down on, and she brought in an extra chair for anyone to sit in.
