When Riley was walking around the hotel area, she only met one creature who was willing to help her with her makeover, and thought that although the rest of the creatures were a little noisy when she was sleeping the night before, she walked over the Bellwood Villages and figured that it could be time to just give herself a tour around the area, which did look pretty quiet compared to the hotel area. She felt her stomach growling and reached for her pockets to see if she got any money and she got some money to buy something small like a cup of hot chocolate and a piece of cake. She quietly eats her small desert and thought it was sweet. She looks around the area and thought it was a nice area and thought that she could come here on her own whenever the hotel was too noisy.

The first thing Aqua noticed about this place was that it was quiet. She smiled. She always did prefer the silence to loud bustling areas. The hotel lobby was something Aqua avoided like the plague. And so far the bar had added itself to that list of places to avoid.

When eating her cake, she saw a young woman with blue hair who looked a little older than her, and she can tell that she liked the quiet atmosphere as well. Riley did like the quiet atmosphere as well, and thought that the lobby was a little too noisy for her to handle; she gazes at her with a small grin and continued to eat her cake. She gave her a quick wave and shyly looked away. Maybe she can look up to her as a figure that her mother never gave her a chance to see as a motherly figure at the time. She did look nice and friendly from the way she was smiling right now. She walks outside and looks up at her with a toothy smile. "Hi there..."

Aqua jumped in surprise when she was addressed. She quickly turned to see who was talking to her only to realized the person was much shorter than she had expected as she had to gaze downward. A child? Here? Alone? All of those things made the fey bite the inside of her cheek. But she smiled down at the young girl. "Hello," she greeted. "What's your name? I'm Aqua."

When she saw the blue haired girl jumping in surprise, she gave out a small look of worry, thinking that she did something to startle her. "Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you.." she quickly apologized as she rubs her arms with a bit of worry once again. She then saw her smiling at her and heard her introducing herself; she looked up at the young woman and she thought she looked pretty nice, so, time to get to know her. "Hi, Aqua. My name is.. Riley Anderson. I was just getting something to eat. I was just having a nice piece of cake and a hot drink. How about you?" She asked, and rubs her arms again. She then looked at her hair and smiled at the hair color. "I really.... like your hair." She compliments, and gives out a small grin and then looks down. She did remember having some students in her class with different colored hair and wished she had that hair color so, she could fit right in.

"Oh, you didn't scare me," Aqua assured her. She offered her kindest smile to the young girl. "It's nice to meet you Riley. I was just out walking around." She frowned when she saw that Riley was rubbing her arms. The girl wasn't wearing a jacket and the weather was getting colder. "Riley, where are your parents?" she asked, hoping to find the girl's parents and give them a stern lecture over proper childcare because Riley needed taking care of. "Huh? Thank you?" she said after Riley commented on her hair.

When she heard Aqua mentioning that she did not scare her, Riley sighed in relief. "Oh, thank goodness." She said, and looked up at the young woman and smiled at her. She did feel most comfortable around her and Rarity since they were older than her and she needed figures since her parents did not pay attention to her after moving. "Hey, nice to meet you too, Aqua. It is a nice day to walk around on a day like this." She comments, with a small smile. She did feel a little chilly, but, luckily, that hot chocolate drink helped her. As she heard Aqua asking her about her parents, she gave a low sigh and had to tell her the truth. "I came here alone. I had to get away from home. I wanted to go back to Minnesota, but, my father lost his job again. The life style back in San Francisco was bad. I didn't want to go back to living that awful style. So, I found out about this hotel and decided to stay here." She said, and some tears formed in her eyes. "I never told my parents where I was going, but, I have to tell them the truth as to why I ran off here." She murmured to her through wet tears. She heard Aqua thanking her for the compliment, and she nods. "Anytime.."

"Riley," Aqua breathed after Riley told her why she was there. She was a runaway. It made her bite her lip. "Riley, you need to let them know you're safe. They're probably worried sick about you."

When listening to her advice about telling her parents about her running away from home, she looked down at the ground, as though she did regret running away from home. She then remembered going away before, and she knew that running away from home was not going to be the answer to everything. She gave out a bit of a sigh and looked up at her. "Yeah, good idea. can you stay with me while I give them a call to let them know where I am? I cannot do this alone." She asks, as she took out her phone and she started to slowly dial her number, hoping that the place could get good service, especially if its a call based on emergencies.

"Of course I'll stay." Aqua said kindly. She guided Riley somewhere quieter so she could hear her parents when they spoke.

When dialing her home phone back, she looked up to her and felt a lot better when she'll stay with her once she tells her parents the truth as to why she went away. "Thanks, Aqua." She thanked, and waited for the phone to ring. She waited until her mother picked up a couple of seconds later.
"Riley? Is that you? Where are you?" Her mother asks. The girl gulped and she took a couple of deep breaths. "I'm at a hotel right now. Do not worry about me. I'm safe and I met a lot of nice people. I had to go away since I was not happy with the home style.." She said, and starts to sob on the phone. "I... understand. Glad you're ok though. Call me anytime you want." Her mother said, with a sad sigh. "Do you know when you'll be returning home?" Her mother asked. Riley sighed another sigh. "Um... when I feel like going back. I love you and dad...and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." She said, with sobs in her eyes.
"Its fine honey. Just be careful." She said, and sighs again. "I have to go.. so, I'll face-time you and dad later?" Riley said, and starts to slowly smile again. "Yes, I'll talk to you soon. Goodbye, Riley." Her mother said, and hung up the phone. Riley hangs up and turns to Aqua. "My mother understands.."

Aqua quietly waited for Riley to finish the phone call. While she may not have been able to hear what was going on on the other line, she felt that the mother's reaction wasn't severe enough. Her daughter ran away. Her daughter was in a foreign place with strangers. If Riley had been her child, not that Aqua was planning on children any time soon, she would have demanded Riley tell her where she was and she herself would have gone to get her. "I see," she said.

When Riley looked at her with a bit of a worried look, she was not sure on she was going to react to her mother being not so severe to her on the phone. She did remember running away before as a sign of attention and to let the parents know that she was not happy in the new home as she did not like the idea in the first place. She looked up at her, and sighed. "Yeah, I did run away before...as a sign of me not being happy." Just then, a little bit of blood started to drip from her arm and she tried to hide it from Aqua. "I was diagnosed with depression as soon as we got home from San Francisco. Right now, I'm feeling better about things, and planning to stay here for a long time. I still face FaceTime on my phone to contact them whenever I need help or with some advice." She said, and uses a napkin to wipe some of the blood off her hand. "Don't worry about the blood. I accidentally scraped myself when getting off the bus.." She said, and felt her face growing with nervousness.

Aqua sighed. She took a hold of Riley's arm. Green tendrils of magic washed over the laceration. The cut slowly healed up. A mark wasn't even left on Riley's skin. "Now," Aqua said firmly. "Let's go see about getting you that jacket."

When Riley saw that she had powers of making the cut disappear right away, her eyes started to widen up and thought that she was quick to getting rid of the pain. "Wow, how did you do that?" She asked, as she still had her eyes widened as before. She wished that her doctors had someone like Aqua to get rid of pains right away. She then saw that she wanted to get her a jacket since it was pretty cold outside. She did feel her skin getting cold once again due to the chilly air and she really needed something right now. "Good idea. I guess I should have prepared myself with a jacket just so, I can stay warm instead of using all my money on a hot drink." She comments, with a small shrug and waits for the young woman to lead the way.
((She actually cut herself on the bus. Looks like she forgot to take her medicine..))
