Raven had been looking over the old cope of beauty and the beast that Yu let her borrow for the time being. She closed the book as a raven landing next to her. "Hello there" said Raven.

As Riley was walking around from the hotel grounds, she saw that there was a garden full of flowers; she did remember her mother who used to bring her to these places when she was a little girl, and those nice memories would only be the nice ones since she turned twelve, her mother now didn't have time to do anything with her due to the financial crisis. She was a little sad when looking at the dasies as she remembered her mother giving her a bracelet of her favorite flowers, but, she had to stay positive since she was someplace new and although the hotel could be noisy, it could be nice just get away from stress. She then saw a girl her reading a book of some sort. She did look friendly enough to the bird which looked like one of those raven birds. She felt the urge to approach her, but, at the same time, she didn't want to interrupt her conversation with the bird. She decided to go and say hi since she needs some friends around the place. "Um, hi. Am I disturbing you or anything?" She asked, with a nervous look on her face.

The raven flew off as the girl start to talk. Raven look up at the girl. "Not really" said Raven as she give the girl a small smile as she stand up and dust the grass off of her dress. "I don't believe that I see you before" said Raven.

As Riley saw the bird flying off, she stepped back a little and thought that she scared off the bird. She saw that the girl looked friendly enough to chat with and she tried to smile right back at her. As Riley heard her mentioning that she never saw her around, she nods. "Well, I am new to the hotel. I just got here a couple of days ago. I have to say, the place is quite a big one, and it was full of a lot of interesting creatures." She said, and tried to think positive about the place. It would be better to live here instead of dealing with her crisis. "What's your name?" She asked, and walks up to her with her arm out ton give her a handshake. "My name is Riley Anderson." She introduced herself, with a shy smile.

Raven grab her hand as she shake it back. "I'm Raven Parkerson, nice to meet you" said Raven. "Well that okay and welcome" Raven hope that the girl would be okay here. "You have a wonderful name" Raven said as she like the name Riley.

This girl seemed friendly enough to be friends with. She looked at Raven, and gives her a small smile. "Raven, pleased to meet you." She said, and shook her hand. The only other creatures that she met were just Aqua and Rarity, so, she hoped that the rest of the creatures were a friendly bunch of folks. She heard Raven welcoming her to the place, and Riley nods her head in acknowledgement. "Thanks, Raven. I'm hoping that this lifestyle will be better than just the life that I had back in San Francisco." She said, with a small sigh, not willing to talk about it in front of this girl. She heard the compliment, and she rubs her arms in shyness. "Thank you, Raven. You have a nice name as well." She compliments, and gives her a little smile. "So, do you guys have a hockey rink in the winter time? I would like to play hockey here sometime." She asks, and her eyes brighten up in hope. Playing hockey at the hotel would give her good memories of Minnesota, especially when her teammates praised her of being the team captain.
