After Riley got herself settled in, she decided to walk around the hotel and there was a lot of magical creatures and not a lot of humans. She was feeling a little nervous since she thought she was not going to make a friend like she never did back in San Francisco; instead, she felt a little nervous about being in this place alone. She sighed a little as she smelled the sweet air in the spa room. A massage could hopefully help her with her stress level at the moment. She sighed as she sat in a chair and waited for someone to help her. "Hello? Anyone in there?" She asked, with a small little nervousness coming out of her voice.

Rarity had been helping out in the spa while also running her fashion store in the next town over, despite coming to this hotel to relax she only found herself working, she heard someone calling for assistance in the spa and ran over as soon as she could, "Hi there darling, how may I be of assistance for you today?" she said looking at the young girl

When Riley was walking around the spa area, she saw a young woman with purple hair trying to help other customers. She saw her running towards and she just stood still. She didn't expect her to rush around the area just to help someone, but she was willing to get a spa treatment. As she heard the young woman asking her on what she needed, she looked at the other patients in the place and thought on what she wanted. "Hm, I guess a make-over or a back massage cloud be nice." She answered, and thought she looked nice. "I'm new to the hotel as well.." She said, with a bit of shyness in her voice.

Rarity took a look at the young girl and walked around her to get a better look , "Oh my dear you have such a pretty face and your eyes are so lovely, I can understand maybe cutting your hair slightly but as for a make-over I don't really think you need one, however your outfit is in dire need of a do-over, i think you would look good in greens and blues but that's depending on the kind of day it is... oh but listen to me i'm rambling um... why don't you tell me what your favorite colors are." she said with a small smile

This young woman started to sound like her mother, who did give her some advice about not putting on make up as well. She saw her walking around too see her face from up close; Riley's reaction would be either be jumping back in fright or just acting as though she was a little startled by personal space; however, she looked likes she wanted to help. "Gee, thanks. My mother would say the same thing about my face when it comes to putting make up on." She said, with a small little shrug. When it came to her talking about the outfit on the other hand, she looks down quickly and she thought that sometimes, her clothing looked like it came from the garbage dump or something from the cheap market, but, her family was poor since her father lost his job and had to move back to San Francisco. She heard the color suggestions for the new outfit, and her eyes started to brighten up. "You think blues and greens would look good on me? I guess I can go for a new outfit. To be honest, my mother didn't have anytime to take me shopping since we had a financial crisis." She said, with a sad little sigh; she hated to think about her financial problem at home since this new hotel can be a place to move in. "A new outfit can be nice. As for colors, I'll go with your suggestions. I guess my favorite color is...blue" She said, as she tried to think positive when she tries on a new look for herself. She then forgot to introduce herself to the purple-haired young lady and she tried to smile at her when she reached out her hand. "I'm.. Riley..Riley Anderson by the way. What's yours?" She asked, with a small grin.

"Oh my name? Darling you can call me Rarity." she said with a sweet smile, "Now then about your clothes, you said you like blue so I'm thinking a nice blue top with and light blue and teal skirt, or maybe some light purples as well, now about your hair what I could do for you is this, we give it a trim and brush it off to the right and maybe add some Blue and Purple streaks in your bangs to make you face pop out, what do you think?"

When Riley heard her saying her name, which is Rarity, she nods. "Nice name. Never heard that name before, it does sound pretty." She said, with a small smile and looked up at her again. She listened to her suggestions and thought they are going to look nice on her, again, her mother never took out her shopping before, so, listening to the lady's ideas sounded good. All those ideas did sound like good ideas for a new look. "Wow, sounds good to me.. as for the hair, I never had that style before...it does sound fun." She said, as her face started to brighten up. She did feel nervous about her very first make over, but, she gained a lot of trust in her to do a nice job on her. "Thank you, Rarity." She said, and sniffled happily.

When Riley saw that she was comforting her very gently, she did not know the real story on what she went through with her parents. Her mother never took her out for make-overs since they were very expensive and the clothes that she saw on other girls her age looked expensive as well. She was never going to get something like this back in her home area, so, she'll enjoy this time now; this young lady was awfully nice to help her. "Sounds great to me!" She said, as she uses a tissue to blow her nose and sits in a chair and waits for her to start on her hair.

Rarity smiled and started with the procedure, first she would spray Riley's hair down with water and comb it through so any knots were gone, she then picked up her scissors and began trimming.

When getting her very first hair trim in a long time, various emotions were going through her head. She was feeling happy that she was getting this pampering treatment in a long time; at the same time, she was feeling a little sad since she wanted the same hair style like every other girl in her class, and she hated the feeling of being poor. She wanted her mother to at least take her out so she could be like the other popular girls back in school, but, now that she was getting this treatment, she started to give out a positive look on her face. "You know, Rarity. This is the first time I have ever got something like this. My mother never really paid attention to me asking her for a makeover or anything like that. My dad lost their job and that was when everything went down in my family. We only had money for school supplies and food, nothing special.." She comments, with a little sigh of sadness.

"Oh dear, that sound just depressing, well don't you worry dear when I'm done with you you'll look so nice and new that your parent are sure to listen to you." Rarity said smiling, "Now my dear i am going to start with some coloring now so please relax alright." she said getting the dyes ready

When she heard Rarity giving her encouragement about her looking nice right after she being done with her, Riley gave out a small smile. "Yeah, it was sad. I looked pretty much poor amongst the other students which were girls. I wanted to make friends but, I was not sure on how they would think of me..." She said, with another sigh. As she heard get mentioning that she was going to put some coloring in her hair, she closes her eyes so the dye won't get in them. She was a little nervous about the look, but, knew that she was going to look new and fresh. She then leans back and waits for her to take care of her hair.

Rarity got right to work and mixed the dyes and started putting them in Riley's hair, as she did this she tried her best to make sure that the colors didn't blend in too much and that the streaks would be nice.

As she continues to lay back for her, she soon falls asleep in the chair. The chair was not only very relaxing, but, also, she felt better now that she was getting this treatment for free. She did pay for it originally once she got to the front desk. "Miss, how much do I owe you for this? I have my....debit card if that's ok with you." She asked, with a bit of nervousness in her voice. She hoped Rarity takes cards instead of cash...since she already spent her last dollars on food.
