Mariya sat at a booth in the restaurant, drinking a soda he ordered to be put in a wine glass. He may not be old enough to drink, but he was going to look elegant even if it killed him. He saw Rise enter the restaurant and waved her over "Over here, Rise."

Rise had been at the hotel for a while, even after she got her car fixed she figured she could work at the bar and live at the hotel for a while, she did end up getting her phone back and she had put Mariya's number in. Today she had gotten a text from Mariya and was invited to go to the restaurant for a meet up so she figured why not. When she got there she saw Mariya wave at her, "Hey how are you?" she said smiling

"Oh well you see before I came here, The place I was living in was this crappy appartment and well my neighbors were just mean and crabby like 24/7 ya know." she said as she rubbed her neck.

"Yes I know, but well.." she looked around to make sure no one could hear her, "It's just I only got to the human world here like about a year a go and I needed to find a place fast and was in a rush so i had to persuade this apartment owner to let me stay for cheap." she said with a small frown.

Rise smiled and took his hand in hers, "Thanks, it's good to know that someone will look out for you, and hey we are kinda the same kind of being so we should look out for each other." she then moved some hair out of her eyes and sighed contently.

"yeah." Rise rubber her neck, "Originally I left the world we come from so I could be free, I didn't want to live there because i felt trapped, so I came here to the human world." she said sighing again

"wow really? they wanted you to find your mate already? You look to young for that... well I never really stuck round for that either, i got out of there before anything stupid could go down." she said with a smile. She then ordered a soda as well in a wine glass and sighed once more, "Well at least I got out before it was too late, I was worried I would never be able to experience what it was like to use my powers on humans."

"At least your free now." He smiled at her, then scowled and looked around "There seems to be no one here worth my effort, in my opinion." He sighed "My parents want an heir as well, another reason they're pushing me."
