It wasn't unusual for him to walk about the night in his human guise, but he was beginning to grow more and more antsy whenever he was around too many humans during such periods of time. IT was especially frustrating for him not being able to tell some of the humans apart from other mystical beings such as himself. For these reasons, he was out and about the Hotel's gardens, his lantern hanging from his hip underneath his cloak. He held out an arm and ran his fingertips across the flowers, having them flourish and grow larger than they were before. With a sigh of relief he stared at his handiwork, a smile brightening his face up a little. A rather loud sound caught his attention, causing him to stand up straight and look around nervously.

Chiaya was in her alien fox form enjoying a night walk at night. She always enjoyed the beauty of the fresh night air, especially when the night was full of stars. It was a bit clique for an alien to love stars, but she didn't care. She began to hear a loud sound. She shifted into her human form and began to check it out.

It was moments like this that he really hated inhabiting Wirt's body, he was always such a nervous human. The shivering never ceased to annoy him and neither did a panicked thoughts. Literally nothing could physically hurt him, so why was he becoming this jittery mess every time a twig snapped. The beast took tentative steps closer to the source of the noise, peeking around wall corners and then continuing to run a little bit ahead while holding onto his red pointy hat. He stood with his back flat against a wall as he heard the sound of approaching footsteps on the other side. He hesitantly peeked his head around the corner, nearly jumping out of his skin at the sight of another person. "A-ah!" He exclaimed in surprise, jumping up onto one foot and taking a guarded stance.

Chiaya felt something bump into her and she screamed with a quite polite "Eeep!" for some reason as she accidently shifted into her alien fox form. She looked at the guy she bumped into. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there. You okay?"

He blinked at the fox in front of him, his mouth gaping in a fish-like manner as he tried to pull together a coherent thought. "I-uh…yeah. Wait! What?" he managed to mutter, fumbling with his words. He lowered his arms and let his cape cover his torso as he looked at at the alien. "Sorry, I'm just…really confused." she said with a slight smile.

Chiaya gave a light blush and went behind a bush. "Uh.... Well.... You startled me. I got scared and converted to this form. Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. I'll change back. Once I calm down. I'm an alien fox shifter." she said shly.

He blinked with his mouth open a little, trying to process what she just told him. "Alien…fox shifter…" he said slowly before nodding a little. "Okay, I think I can wrap my head around that." he offered with an unsure smile.
