Name: The Beast or Wirt
Age: +10,000
Species of Magical creature: Malevolent Forest Spirit
Family: None ( I am willing to change this is anyone wants to be a family member)
Job (if any) : None
Personality: A very deceitful and manipulative spirit, he uses words rather than action in most of his dealings. He is very charming and well-behaved so long as he isn't agitated or threatened. It is very difficult to agitate him, unless his lantern is disturbed or almost blown out. At that point he will become very violent and twisted, going so far as to threaten murder on loved ones. He feels no guilt and is generally indifferent to human affairs. Though, in his human guise, he will tend to behave just as Wirt did. Squirrelly and uncertain, generally tumbling over his words and acting like a dork.
Background: The Beast was a well known and feared legend that was known to prey off the children of villages and use them to grow the forest. For most, he was just a bed-time story that was told to keep children from straying out into the forest, but for the unlucky few, he was more than legend. In his latest endeavors, he stole a child from his brother and was in the process of making him into a tree. The brother and his father searched the forest for him, the two splitting apart for a while. The father found the Beast and tried to kill him with an axe while the brother found the child. Eventually the two brothers found each other and the elder tried to free him. The Beast found the brothers and dropped their father's corpse in front of them as a tactic to make the elder flee. The brother refused and threatened to blow out the Beast's lantern. The Beast decided to end the entire situation by consuming the brother's soul and taking on his appearance. With the brother's soul in him, he no longer needed the trees to sustain his soul. He later discovered that the brother's name was Wirt based on the child's dying cry for help.
Hidden Secrets: He stole children from their homes and used their bodies to grow trees that would fuel the lantern that kept his soul alive.
