"oh goodness, well around 3 years or so, The owner of the hotel took me in when I was kicked out of my old home." she said calmly, "This place became my new home and well I didn't want to be a burden so I became a worker here." she said smiling

Tomoe listened to what Yukiko said. He would have gotten up and looked at her, but he was afraid of hurting her. "Sorry." was all he could say not to get too emotional.

"No it's alright really, I am very happy now, I can keep my pet here and things have gotten better for me, plus i meet very interesting people, it's almost funny how I have yet to find someone to fall in love with." she said out loud before realizing what she said and covering her mouth

Someone to fall in love with? How come that filled the yokai with a sense of worry. He would hate to admitt, but he hoped that he had some sort of feelings for her. "Yeah. Well I'm glad your happy here and I hope..." he soon shut his mouth. A bit nervous to say what he was feeling.

"You hope what?" yukiko asked as she wiped the oil from her hands. the more she would talk with him the more she wanted to know about him, not only was he kind bu he was very sweet and so traditional in her eyes, he was almost the kind of guy she would want to date

Tomoe closed his eyes for a second and then took a deep breath. "I hope I'm the one you like." he said in a blunt whisper. He did really like Yukiko, just wasn't used to conveying his own feelings.

Yukiko's blush got darker once she heard him say what he said, she looked at Tomoe and was rendered speechless that all she could do was stand there blushing like a fool. she was finally able to clear her head and coughed slightly, "S-So what your saying is that... You'd like to go out with me?" she asked her voice making her sound way too cute then she should have sounded
