The cafe was a nice place to be, even so early in the morning like Yosuke was. There were quite a few morning customers that were coming in to get coffee and early morning breakfast before heading off to work. The brown haired boy was engrossed in his book. He knew that studying here wasn't practical but it felt more welcome than the library. At least if he messed up on his magic, people could claim it was a breeze. There was no breeze in the library. Studying seemed to make him more frustrated, he needed a break.

Yu made sure that he was in disguise to go into the cafe as the bell rang over to let someone was coming in. The cashier asked Yu with a kind smile, "What will it be sir?" Yu put twenty dollars on the table as he ordered, "One truffle latte and ten scones with strawberry jam inside. Also I want ten dragon cookies." The cashier said happily as she took the money and gives the change to Yu, "Yes right away sir." The cashier put both the scones and cookies into two separate bags and gave them to Yu. He took them and the order was ready as one of the workers yelled, "One truffle latte!" Yu picked up his latte and looked up to see a brown haired boy focused on his book as he noticed he didn't see he had no snack or drink on his table.
Yu thought he didn't have the money so he dug into his scone bag and put the scone in front of him hoping he might take it.

Yosuke blinked at the sight of the scone. He hadn't even thought about food since he had gotten there. His stomach gave a low growl, causing him to feel flustered. His eyes wandered from the book to a silver haired boy who looked kind of familiar but Yosuke couldn't place where. "Um, thanks." he said with a smile.

Yu sat across from him as he put down his bags and latte while taking off his sunglasses. Yu said with a small grin, "No problem. I'm just observant mostly." He took a small sip of his latte and and took out and bit a dragon cookie as he asked curiously, "Tell me, what book are you reading? I haven't caught up on the latest books due to my work." Yu had to go on tour against swimmer against swimmer including being being the ace of the soccer team Team Inferno Dracos. Not mention having the responsibilities his mother put him through being the heir of the family name and trying to continue the Maleficent bloodline.

Yosuke nodded before pushing the books away. No longer wanting to look at the books. "It's not really that important, just things that might help me later." he said, not wanting to mention the whole "wizardry" around normal people. "I just was wrapped up with it that I forgot to eat." He rubbed his neck sheepishly

Yu chuckled and said with a small smile, "I'm the same. My agent has to keep reminding me to eat until my stomach growls and then I get scolded." Yu kept forgetting to eat and got scolded more than once by his agent. He was on a low calorie diet so would eat his sweets and burn them off during his training for both of his teams. Yu then said as he scratched behind his head with a sheepish smile, "I'm just glad to be away from work."

Yosuke looked at hte boy again. Agent huh? That meant that he was a celebrity. Well, that didn't make sense, why would a celebrity hang out with a normal looking guy like him? It didn't make sense but in the end, Yosuke knew better than to judge a book by its over. "I can see why an agent would be annoying."

Yu sighed and said with concern, "Its more than that...my mother wants me to be the heir to her bloodline." Yu looked at his latte and continued talking as he looked at his refection, "I didn't ask for it and now because of it my sister and I are on bad terms...I try to get close to her like we were before...but now I don't know what to do..." Yu took a sip of his latte and asked curiously, "Do you have siblings?"

Yosuke frowned and shook his head. "That's rough man, but no no siblings." he said, taking a look around. "Maybe it would have been a little easier if i had one." The idea of a little brother or sister made him a little sad, but knowing his luck, it might have ended up worse. "My parents and I aren't exactly close.." he looked at his hands for a moment. "At least not anymore."
He rubbed his neck looking a little sad. "My parents are probably better off without me anyways."

Yu frowned and said sadly, "I never knew my father...my mother only sees me as an object...kind of like a doll in a sense." His eyes turned red as he gripped the cup hard as it started to crack slowly as he talked angrily, "Nothing but a puppet...for her own selfish gains..." The cup finally shattered and his eyes turn gray once more as he let out his frustration . He realized he shattered his latte and looked at the waitress as he ordered, "Two truffle lattes." The waitress nodded then cleaned up and pick up the clay shards. She then came back with two truffle lattes and he sighed as he took the first latte and said apologetically, "Sorry...I get sensitive when it comes to her..."

Yosuke had never seen a boy look so upset, the idea of talking about his family wasn't a good thing. "Maybe-we should change the subject?" he offered. "No more talk of parents. We could save that for a day when we are feeling like crap and need to let out some frustration." He tried to offer a smile to cheer the boy up.
"There's no reason to keep talking about our sucky lives." Yosuke didn't want to mention his life right now, as much as it hurt him. This other boy's life seemed worse off

Yu chuckled and said with a smile, "Yeah but its nice to know that someone understands..." He then took a sip and said with a grin, "Oh I'm Yu by the way." He wanted to see the reaction on this boy's face when he dropped his name.

Yosuke blinked a bit surprised. He knew he had recognized the boy from somewhere, and though he wasn't really famous in his town, Yosuke had known Yu's name due to several girls constantly gushing over him. It was a bit weird but not abnormal, girls did that all the time. "I'm Yosuke." he said offering a smile

Yu grinned and said as he gave him the second truffle latte, "Well, if you're up for it. You can come up to my room and we can party." Yu could use some company and party to take his mind off of things.

Yosuke gave a tiny smirk. "Party huh? Havent' done that in...well in ever." He said with a smile. He might have had friends back in the day but he certainly hadn't had gone to parties or anything of the sort. It wasn't his cup of tea. "Why would you want to hang out with a guy like me, aren't you famous or whatever?"
