Kanji was walking through the halls trying to locate the elevator to the floor. He had reached the center point of the third floor. He couldn't believe how big the place was. He stood for a few moments in the hallway trying to see which direction to go. It was sort of too hot to go outside in the blazing afternoon. He found a seat in the hallway, not realizing that he had dropped one of the keychains that he was working on.

Elize was pretty sure she was lost now. She had tried her best to memorize her room number and now she had no idea where she was. Did she press the wrong button on the elevator? That had to be it because this hall did not look at all familiar to her. Frowning, she held Teepo close to her as she walked down the hallway. Maybe there was someone who could help her. But to just go and ask a stranger, it was too scary.
Green eyes spotted something on the floor. A little keychain, with something on it. Reaching forward, she picked it up and stared at it. It was hand-made at least she thought so. But who had dropped it? The only person there was a young boy, maybe he knew. "...excuse me." she said quietly. "Did you drop this?"

Kanji was busy in his thoughts when he saw that a little girl had found the keychain that he had dropped along the hallway. He took it into his hand and then looking at the girl. "Thank you." he said with a soft smile. "Don't mind me asking? Are you lost as well little one?" he asked.

Elize gave a small nod. "I think i got off on the wrong floor, I don't know what happened." she frowned. "I might have pressed the wrong button." She didn't remember doing that but all the floors were looking the same. She wasn't about to admit she was too short to reach many of the buttons but that might have been the reason.

Kanji looked at the little girl and place his hand on her shoulder. "If you want? I can perhaps help you find where your room is." He gave an asuring smile. Feeling a bit sorry for the little girl who was also lost.

Elize looked up at him shyly, hugging Teepo close. "You will? Really? But you were doing something important weren't you?" she asked, as she couldn't help but notice his work and she didn't want to make him stop because she was lost.

Kanji gave a light smile and shook his head. "No little one. To tell you the truth, I'm a bit lost here myself. I would be more than happy to help you." he said giving a sweet smile. "That is if you want. Maybe we could help each other find out where we are."

"Okay..." Elize said, "I am good at helping people, that's what Mama and Teepo told me." She said smiling and hoping on her feet. "I'm Elize. Elize Lutus."she wanted to offer her hand to shake but didn't want to lose her grip on Teepo

"Well nice to meet you Elize, I'm Kanji." he said with a smile. He patted the girls on her head, since he could see that she couldn't shake hands. "So I guess your little friend is Teepo. Am I right?"

Elize nodded. "Uh huh. That's us. Elize and Teepo." she said happily. "Nice to meet you Kanji." She looked at his work again. "What are you working on?" She asked, "Do you make crafts or something?" The little girl had never met someone who did crafts besides her mom. It was cool that Kanji did that sort of thing but Elize didn't want to assume anything.

Kanji gave a light blush and placed his hand behind his neck. "I... I... Well in a way yeah. I sew." he said in a sort of an embarresed little manner. "I make stuffed animals to small keychains, like the one you found. All as a hobby."

Elize thought that this was actually really cool. Someone who could make dolls. That was something she never knew what people could do. "That's really cool Kanji." she said. "I think its nice to have a hobby like that." she gave a warm smile despite knowing he was blushing. "You are very good." She was a bit nervous but she was thinking that maybe she could ask him to make her a doll.

Kanji blushed a bit to what the small one said. "Well... I... Thank you." he said with a smile. "Hey if you want, I could perhaps show you how to make one? That is if you have the time or want to." he asked.

Elize's eyes went wide at the thought of learning how to sew to make her own dolls. "Would you?" she asked, almost disbelief in her voice. Why would he offer that? It made no sense. "I would like to if you wouldn't mind teaching me sometime."

Kanji gave a smile. "Sure, anytime you want me to teach you. Just let me know." he said as he looked at. He couldn't remember what his little sister was like at this age, but he could imagine that they were somewhat alike.
